How to Update Your Timezone

Introduction

Your account timezone controls how dates are interpreted and displayed across Wicked Reports, including reporting ranges and daily rollups. You can update your timezone at any time, and the selected timezone will apply across the entire app going forward.

We strongly recommend setting your Wicked Reports timezone to match the timezone of your primary ad account. Most ad platforms do not allow timezone changes once an account is created, so aligning Wicked Reports to those systems helps prevent reporting mismatches.

If you manage multiple ad accounts across different timezones, set your Wicked Reports timezone to the westernmost timezone in use. This reduces the risk of missing or misaligned data from eastern timezones.

Steps to Update Your Timezone

You can update your timezone in two places. Both locations use the same dropdown and update the entire account.

  1. Fast Setup
    1. If your a new user, navigate to your Wicked Fast Setup page

    2. Select the Timezone setting  drop-down menu

    3. Update your Timezone.

    4. Press Save

  2. Account Settings

    1. In the top left of the app, hover over your Profile Name
    2. Select the Settings page
    3. Update your Timezone
    4. Press Save Changes

Once saved, the selected timezone is used across the entire app.

Important: Timezone changes apply going forward only. Contact Wicked Reports Support if you need historical data reprocessed using your new timezone.

For new accounts, historical data reprocessing does not typically matter as long as the timezone is set correctly during initial setup.

FAQ

  1. Will changing my timezone affect existing reports?
    Existing data remains unchanged. The new timezone applies only to future data unless historical reprocessing is requested.
  2. What timezone is my account currently in?
    The active timezone is shown next to the Last Updated timestamp, seen in the top right of your app.
  3. Can I change my timezone more than once?
    Yes. You can update your timezone at any time, but frequent changes are not recommended unless absolutely necessary.
