      How Do The Google Looker Studio Report Field Names Map to the Wicked Reports FunnelVision Report Field Names?

      This document is for anyone connecting a Wicked Reports account to the Google Looker Studio Integration and wants to ensure they use the correct FunnelVision View fields in their Google Looker Studio report

      Introduction to Field Mappings

      Looker Studio retrieves data from Wicked Report FunnelVision daily, allowing you to use a Date Picker in your reports. However, since the data is not aggregated over the entire date range, some field values may not align with those in the Wicked Reports UI. This can result in certain fields being omitted from the Looker Data Source or differing due to daily data retrieval.

      Additionally, some calculated fields cannot be summed across multiple days to match the UI representation and will need to be recreated as calculated fields within Looker Studio.

The term dataSet = summary is used as a filter condition within Looker Studio reports. It specifies that only data from the Funnel Vision "summary" data set should be included in your report instead of the "grid" data within your Funnel Vision Report.
