Introduction

How to add Wicked Tracking Parameter to a single ad

When creating an ad, you simply need to add these custom parameters to the URL parameters field.

1. Go to your Facebook Ads Manager
2. Click Edit on your Ad
3. Scroll down to your URL Parameter section
4. Enter the following Wicked Tracking Parameter into your URL Parameter field:
   WickedSource=Facebook&WickedID={{ad.id}}
5. Alternatively, you can:
   
   1. Press Build A Parameter
   2. Scroll down to the Customer Parameter section
   3. Press Add Parameter and add two custom parameter name & values
      1. Parameter = WickedSource; Value = Facebook
      2. Parameter = WickedID; Value= {{ad.id}}
6. Press Apply

How to bulk add Wicked Tracking Parameter to multiple ads

1. Go to your Facebook Ads Manager
2. Add the URL Parameter column to your view (Learn how)
3. Select all active Campaigns
4. Open the list of Ads associated with those campaigns
5. Search for the missing Wicked Tracking Parameter: Press CTRL + F  and search for, WickedSource=Facebook&WickedID={{ad.id}}
6. Select all the Ads which are missing Wicked Tracking Parameter. 
   
7. Press the Edit button
   
8. Enter the Wicked Tracking Parameter into your URL Parameter field:
   WickedSource=Facebook&WickedID={{ad.id}}
9. Press Publish and it will update all your selected ads!
   

How to view your Facebook URL Parameters in bulk

1. Go to your Facebook Ads Manager
2. Press the Columns button
   
   
   
3. Press Customize Columns
4. Search for "URL Parameters" and select it
   
5. Drag that metric to the top of your columns list.
6. Press Apply and view your URL Parameters.
