How to Authorize Chargify for Wicked Reports

For Wicked Reports to work, you need to have a source for your Order data and a source for your Contact data.  If you use Chargify ( http://www.chargify.com/) to process your orders you will also need to connect a contact source as well.

How to Authorize Chargify for Wicked Reports

To integrate with Chargify, we require that you add your Host Name and API KEY:
1)  Log into Chargify and make note of your Store Sub-domain and URL
**NOTE: You should only select the sub-domain and URL. Do not include HTTPS:// or anything following chargify.com.
*Copy the Store sub-domain URL address for later reference. You will need to paste it into the Wicked Reports Authorization screen.
2) Navigate to Config -> Integrations
3) Create a new API v1 KEY for Wicked Reports Authorization
**Note: Be sure to copy this key for later reference. You will need to paste it into the Wicked Reports Authorization screen. It cannot be retrieved later.
4) Paste these values into the appropriate field in the Chargify Authorizations in Wicked Reports
Once you have set up your Chargify integration, we will begin pulling your order data.
Depending on how much data there is, this might take up to a day for you to begin seeing it.

Potential issues in Tracking orders via Chargify:
Chargify has a restriction where in they don't allow adding third-party Javascript on their checkout page and they don't allow "email address" field to be sent in the return parameters to the thank you page. This becomes a concern since IF the checkout happens within the Charigify domain and if the client's website doesn't have an opt-in option before the checkout.
We could try suggesting them to use the Webinar Fuel approach of modifying the code a little bit and use it in Chargify checkout.
Refer Step-3 on this article to modify the code.
